Supporting CBC

Clare Boat Club offers students the chance to learn to row then to train and race, all at a low enough cost that no-one is deterred from taking part. Alumni will know that, as well as maintaining physical fitness, rowing is a demanding but mentally relaxing antidote to the stresses of academic work. Rowing to the high standards set by CBC develops good time management, teamwork and interpersonal skills that are a powerful asset for life in and beyond Cambridge. Past alumni donations have built up a strong trust fund that already pays many CBC costs. However, these costs continue to rise, and your continued support is vital to our future success. Your donations help to subsidise student costs, to run our fine boathouse, to pay for the experience and skill of our boatman/coach and to keep our fleet of boats and equipment in prime condition.

If you would like to make a single donation you can do so here, or if you would like to support the boat club with a regular commitment, whether annual, monthly or otherwise, then you can do so here.

In particular, Nigel Woodcock (president[at]clareboatclub.org.uk) or Andy Watson (ajw284[at]cam.ac.uk) would be very glad to discuss with you the possibility of making a major donation towards the cost of our next new boat.
