Will Kerr-Muir reports:

We'd practised the start a couple of times while waiting for other crews to arrive, so there was no problem there, and the first few minutes went fairly well. Rounding the corner though the wind picked up and the conditions became less than ideal... bouncy with water hitting riggers and occasionally crashing over the bow. It held together reasonably, the only problem being that the work didn't quite pick up as it could have when the water became calmer.

Still, it was good practice for HORR on Saturday. Although hopefully it won't be as windy and rough, we've had a trial run if it is, and we can avoid being distracted so much by the conditions and keep the focus on the power.
