Well, couldn't ask for a better result! It was good fun getting stuck in with you guys and it's the only time I'll win Emma Sprints! The attitude in the semi-final was exactly what's required to win novice races, awesome stuff. In a way, the best thing is that we can certainly get some more speed by CNR. Even though we improved throughout the day, I don't think rate 36(!) is ever going to be our best bet. Over the longer course at CNR, a good solid 28 will set up a more comfortable rhythm and almost certainly increase the boatspeed. Plenty of stuff to work on this week but hey, we won, nice work. :)
